5th ASEAN-India Youth Summit

The 5th ASEAN-India Youth Summit, is organised by the India Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, from 28th July to 1st August 2025 in Goa, India.

The ASEAN-India Youth Summit is a premier international platform designed to strengthen people-to-people connections between India and the ten ASEAN member states. It brings together some of the most promising youth delegates to engage in structured dialogue, promote mutual understanding, and develop actionable frameworks of cooperation on pressing regional and global challenges. The summit is aligned with India’s “Act East” Policy and is particularly focused on fostering youth-driven regional integration.

This year’s theme, “Connecting the Youth: Shaping Our Future,” aims to explore avenues of cooperation in areas such as sustainable development, digital transformation, climate action, trade and connectivity, and public diplomacy. The summit will include high-level plenary sessions, interactive panel discussions, cultural exchanges, and collaborative workshops. It will be attended by dignitaries including Union Ministers, senior diplomats, policy experts, and youth leaders from ASEAN countries and India.

Participation in this summit will be by invitation only, and we encourage students who are genuinely passionate about international relations, diplomacy, policy-making, and cross-cultural dialogue to express their interest. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with distinguished thought leaders, enhance your leadership and negotiation skills, and contribute meaningfully to ASEAN-India cooperation.
