ASIA PACIFIC YOUTH SDGS SUMMIT 2025

The  ASIA PACIFIC YOUTH SDGS SUMMIT 2025 will be taking place from 13th – 15th August, 2025 in Seoul, South Korea. It is a summit organized annually by the Global Goals Youth, a global initiative which aims to mobilize the youth across the globe to engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Global Goals Youth empowers the youth to take initiatives on issues related to the SDGs through various means such as advocacy, community projects, education, and partnerships. It provides a platform for youth to raise awareness, drive change, and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs in their communities and beyond.

The summit acts as a pan-national podium to address the key world problems and arrive at the most compatible and promising of all the solutions. This year’s theme primarily focuses on the challenges revolving around the aspect of youth employment; a concern closely intertwined with economic development, child labor, rural livelihoods, urban and trans-border migration, gender, poverty, and vulnerability.

The agenda of the summit acknowledges the availability of an incredible source of energy and creativity within the youth of the Asia-Pacific region, while also recognizing the barriers to innovation and decent employment opportunities in the region.
