This 5-month program aims to bring together diverse groups of talented young clean energy and climate leaders from emerging countries. The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship offers an opportunity for young practitioners to gain experience in this field and connect with other fellow enthusiasts. This program offers 16 young practitioners to deepen their skills and enhance their professional network. The program aims to form a community of committed clean energy and climate change leaders from emerging and developing countries. It also provides an opportunity to work with top Yale faculty and researchers, and leading global authorities who are working in this field. Yale Climate Fellows come from diverse backgrounds, including public servants, entrepreneurs, energy industry experts, financiers, journalists, educators, researchers, civil society members, legal advisors, and lawmakers. Included in the orientation program may be the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture, the Yale Open Lab, the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, and the Yale Office of Sustainability, which oversees the University’s net zero objective. Applicants must be between 5 and 10 years within their professional careers with demonstrated achievements at the regional, National, and International levels. must be fluent in English and representatives from the Global South are preferred.
